On my Macbook Pro 15" Mid with Sierra I'm on macOS I have a MacBookPro8,2 Early , and it lets me create the installer fine, its just not being recognized as bootable. I can get the drive made, but nothing is seeing it as bootable. Did you find a way to fix this? Found this when looking for a tutorial.
